9 October – winners of registration competitions announced before this date
16 October – opening evening with your team (activities and pick up your shirt)
17 October – season starts
Labour weekend 24-26 October – no cricket
Early November – kids quiz
Show weekend 13-15 November – no cricket
12 December – last game before Christmas
12 December (early evening) – Year 8 prizegiving and end of year celebrations
30 January – cricket starts back after holidays
5th February – Thursday evening games
Waitangi weekend 6-8 February– no cricket (playing Thursday evening instead)
13 February – teams night (TBC)
20 March – last game for the season
20 March (early evening) – prizegiving.

CJCA Player and Family Support Fund
The Christchurch Junior Cricket Association has re-established a fund with an initial ceiling of $5,250 to support families to participate in CJCA events and remain or become members of Clubs.
The CJCA PLAYER AND FAMILY SUPPORT FUND has been established to assist children attending primary school or being home schooled, aged between 5 years and 13 years who are from financially disadvantaged families or backgrounds that puts adverse pressure on families to afford fees for programmes, events or memberships.
